Ok, I'm a little disappointed, too.
I listed my financial situation as a hardship and the judge accepted it. Now I'm a little bummed. It was getting interesting, and I was kind of having fun.
The courtroom was packed with over 100 people. I dare say at least 60% of them asked to be excused, and most got denied.
It was going to be a three-week trial. I don't know anything about the case, and I couldn't tell you if I did, but three weeks? Sounds like a big deal.
And what's the fun of doing something for three weeks that I couldn't talk about anyway?
PS. That was only juror group #1 of 3. That's over 300 potential jurors, and I'm probably the only one who's sad about getting out.
